We lead the development of a localised skills economy and ensure labour needs are met through the local workforce. We create a wide range of employment opportunities including accessible opportunities within flexible and lower skilled sectors. 

We work with our partners to transform public transport provision creating a truly connected and accessible destination, thereby fuelling economic growth.

We contribute substantially to Greater Manchester’s visitor economy and this is set to increase as new assets are created. TraffordCity’s contribution to the sub regional and Northern Powerhouse economy is expected to increase substantially as a result of ongoing investment in key growth and infrastructure projects.
