Innovative logistics

Port Salford

Port Salford will be the UK’s first tri-modal inland port which will be served by ship, rail and road. This ground breaking development will include an inland port and warehousing facility, container terminal and distribution park.

Located on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal, next to the arterial motorway routes of the M60 and M62, the site is connected to mainline rail networks. Port Salford will offer one of the most significant new warehousing and logistics opportunities in the UK. The site has planning consent for up to 1.6 million sq.ft. of warehouse space and already has its first tenant secured; Culina Group.
