Trafford Golf Centre announces exciting expansion to meet growing demand

Trafford Golf Centre, Europe’s premier golf practice facility and home to the UK’s largest golf academy, has announced a significant investment to enhance and expand its facilities. The project aims to address increasing visitor demand and solidify Trafford Golf Centre’s position as a world-class leisure destination within TraffordCity, Manchester.

The expansion includes:

• Construction of a three-storey, 15-bay West Wing extension designed in a modern ‘lounge bay’ style, providing an elevated and comfortable experience for guests.

• Development of a three-storey, six-bay East Wing extension, which will be home to The Academy, the Centre’s state-of-the-art golf coaching and improvement facility.
• Upgraded perimeter fencing and improved outfield layout to enhance every guest’s golf experience.
• Construction of new maintenance unit buildings to support operational growth.
• A full refurbishment of the existing two-storey facility to create an improved drive, dine and drink in-bay experience.

To facilitate the works, the driving range bays will temporarily close from 5th January 2026 for approximately 12 weeks, with a full reopening from April onwards. Throughout the closure, The Club House, American Golf, The Academy and Dino Falls Adventure Golf will remain open to the public.
