TraffordCity is evolving and is entering a period of development on a breadth and scale not seen since The Trafford Centre was built over 20 years. Over the next three years TraffordCity will be boosted by approximately £350 million of investment with a total £2.6 billion over the next 20 years.
Future investment: Space to grow
TraffordCity has space to grow and thrive with 3.5 million sq ft delivered and 3.5 million sq ft to expand into.
In total, 4.8 million sq ft of commercial floorspace has been delivered with over 50% of this within the The Trafford Centre and its extended Barton Square Development which will include more retail stores.
Over the longer term, it is anticipated that a further 11 million sq ft of floorspace will be delivered totalling 15.8 million sq ft.
