Whether you're traveling by road, rail, bus, tram, bike or even air - TraffordCity is easy to get to.

By road

Junction 10 of the M60 links TraffordCity directly to the North West of England and the national motorway network. If you're getting here by car pop M17 8AA into your sat nav and it'll bring you straight to the heart of TraffordCity.

Parking

When you arrive you'll also find over 11,500 free parking spaces around The Trafford Centre and and further free parking at all the other attractions.

Electric Vehicle charging

You will find electrical parking points on The Trafford Centre's Regent 13 car park opposite Trafford Treetop Adventures and Peel 4 and Peel 5A car parks on the lower level. Plus a number of other EV charging points across TraffordCity.

Metrolink Trafford Park Line

One of the most exciting developments for TraffordCity the arrival of the Metrolink Trafford Park Line. Trams on the brand new line link our vibrant destination to Manchester City Centre and beyond. Plus an amazing collection of visitor attractions along the way.. discover more here

Metrolink line closure 15 and 16 May 2021

The Metrolink Trafford Park Line will be closed over the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May due to essential track replacement work near the Cornbrook Metrolink stop.

A replacement bus service will run for the duration of these works from The Trafford Centre to Deansgate-Castlefield Metrolink stop, calling at all tram stops along the line.

By rail

Manchester Piccadilly is a 15 minute drive from TraffordCity and the station gives easy access to the UK’s major cities with London only a two hour journey away. You can also travel from Manchester Piccadilly to The Trafford Centre's bus station.

By bus

A well serviced bus network travels to the The Trafford Centre bus station from all areas within Greater Manchester and beyond.

By bike

By taxi

Streetcars have taken over operation of the taxi rank and office outside The Great Hall.

By air

Both Manchester International Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are within a 30 minute drive from TraffordCity. Private and business flights can be arranged from City Airport and Heliport which is situated just five minutes away.
