Re-opening news
City Airport & Heliport is now open for all permitted flying activities and public access to the site with flying training permitted.
General public access to the site is also be permitted during opening hours 9am - 6pm.
City Airport & Heliport is a busy general aviation airport located in the City of Salford. Open to the general public, it's a hive of aviation activity from emergency services, flying lessons, private and business flying. They even have their own Cafe & Bar 'Runway 26' serving food, drinks, snacks and meals.

There's always plenty going on at City Airport, from the regular iQuiz nights, to Aircraft Fly-In's, Family Days and our Annual Firework show.
