Introducing Trafford Palazzo at TraffordCity

The weekend of 20-21 November saw the launch of Trafford Palazzo and we celebrated in style with a two-day extravaganza to mark the new era of Barton Square.

The party kicked off with an incredible show from the ‘Trafford Palazzo Cast’ which included ariel artists, life-sized living statues, powerhouse vocals from opera to pop, an energetic dance performance, a stunning orchestra of strings and mesmerising acrobats.

Celebrations continued into Sunday (21stNovember) with a host of live music events beginning with the Electric Dream Light Show which featured a cast of electric musicians, accompanied by stunning ballet dancers who performed some classic pop songs with a twist. This was followed by a percussion performance and a live music set.

Situated at the heart of Trafford Palazzo is its Roman-style, open square fountain which provided an amazing backdrop for the launch weekend activities.

Guests loved the weekend...

We had some incredible feedback from guests who attended with Joanne Durkan from Urmston who brought her family to the event, saying: “It was a brilliant event, and the show was full of surprises. My daughter particularly enjoyed it and was inspired by the aerial artist so much so that she now wants to be one!”

The daughters of Zoe Nixon from Peel L&P who visited the launch weekend, put together an artistic impression of the show.

Zoe said: “We really enjoyed the show on Saturday and my girls loved it so much that they came home and drew photos, so it definitely made a great impression on them as I’ve not actually seen them draw for weeks since they discovered Roblox in lockdown!”

We will be announcing further events over the next few weeks and are also really looking forward to bringing an Unreal Xmas to Trafford Palazzo from 3 December.
