• Marks & Spencer
Have you checked out the Marks & Spencer shoes lately? You should. A certain pair of jewel-toned satin stilettos that nod to Manolo Blahnik’s  cult crystal-buckled Hangisi pumps are flying off the shelves, thanks to their modest £35 price tag. team Vogue was seriously impressed with the SS18 footwear options. Namely: a pair of black flat sandals with a chunky gold buckle that could have waltzed off the shelves at Joseph, plus a pair of basket-weave leather white kitten heels that had a whiff of Céline about them, and a pair of pointed toe white mules. Equally impressive were the bags, which have had an Insta-worthy update thanks to dinky leather bucket shapes and modern-looking leather and canvas cage styles.

• LEON
Introducing the new LEON winter menu: This year LEON are keeping it real. Rather than blending avocado and chocolate and calling it dessert, or telling themselves (and you) that blitzed cauliflower can masquerade as a pizza base, they’re just serving vegetables in ways that make them taste really good.  Because vegetables taste really good anyway and LEON are heralding them just the way they are. They don’t need a New Year’s resolution to become more like a pudding, or transform themselves into a grain or a base or a cake. They just need to be prepared well, and treated in a way that brings out their best. As do we all, really.
That’s why, this year, LEON have an abundance of the best seasonal produce and are serving it to you straight up, without fuss. It’s the time of year to be celebrating British beetroot, butternut squash and dark, leafy greens like kale, and that’s just what LEON intend to do.
They have three new vegan options on the menu to show off the best of the season’s produce, including two new salads that taste like everything you want to eat right now: a Rainbow Mezze Salad and a Squash, Sage and Kale Salad. When you’re not dreaming of salad, there’s a Roasted Beet & Squash Wrap that’s full of good stuff, with brightly pickled red onions and a fiery vegan horseradish mayo. And for vegetarians, the return of the Sweet Potato Falafel Hot Box has arrived just in time for the New Year.

• Costa Coffee
If you’re looking for a calming corner to contemplate your purchases look no further than Costa Coffee in either the ODEON or Next on Regent Crescent. Both branches are nestled in the upper level, away from the view of the mall so perfect for a private tête a tête!

All Bar One is fast becoming famous for its expertly-blended mocktails, extensive selection of wines, beers, plus a distinctive menu with a great range of small plates. Built to share and inspired by different parts of the world, you’ll find it easy to while away an hour or two with friends over a couple of these.

• Selfridges Champagne Bar
